Multiple Pokes and a Few Tears

Well, Harper went today to get her 2 month vaccinations and baby wellness check-up.  Dr. P was very nice as usual....he reminds me of something... not quite sure what it is... a praying mantis perhaps... ha!   My mom was able to go with me which is always a blessing.
Harper's check-up went well.  She is in the top 95 % in length and weight... what can I say, she loves milk! ;)  She is laying too much to one side of her head the dr saw... causing her to be flat headed on the right side of her head.  We have to prop her to one side every other nap and go to the physical therapist to strengthen her neck muscles on  the left side so she wont have to wear a helmet when she's older... I know, crazy, right?? Kind of freaked me out about that.. soooo, no helmet for her... we WILL get that big noggin shaped right.
Well, the end of the appt. was the toughest.  I knew the shots were coming.  I had been dreading it the whole time.  I was asked to hold her little arms down to her chest while the nurse gave them to her.  The first two weren't too bad... I don't think she knew what was happening... but by the last two.. she was crying and so was I!!!  (and so was my mom!)  But I held her close and in about 30 seconds we (yes, we) had stopped crying.
The nurse probably thought we were an overly emotional family with everyone tearing up... but oh well.
Harper has been sleeping alot today and kind of cranky some but its all over.... at least for another 2 months.
