What a Wonderful World

This last month in particular seems to be the month of discovery for Harper.  New objects, new words, new sleeping patterns, new attitude. Its like after turning one she morphed into this other toddler.... and sometimes Im wondering... where has my sweet little girl gone to??
But I have to say, with all the changes and challenges I am enjoying all the new things she has discovered and learned to say... for instance...
She has discovered: that putting shoes on most of the times means we are going somewhere, that there are very interesting things inside the fridge, or that its fun slamming on keyboards or pushing ANYTHING with a button ..i.e.... remotes, baby monitors, T.V.'s, computer mouse, etc.
She has learned how to say and point to: dada, nana (for both the meaning of a banana AND my mother), ball, bug (which both sound about the same when she says them), light, bird, me, bible, butterfly (which she says rather weirdly), flower, eye, ear, and snack (which comes out as, nack)... oh, and she makes the sounds of these animals rather than saying what they are...for example... baa baa for a sheep, moo for a cow, rrrr, rrrr, for a dog and some kind of crowing noise for a rooster.
My little baby is no more... she is now a toddler... my little girl.
