So, over the past few months Harper has been going to therapy for her torticollis (a condition in which the head is tilted to one side). We had been told that she had a slight flatting of the back of her head on the right side as well and that she MIGHT have to wear a helmet!!! I was NOT excited about that. So, after that we really began working on not laying her on her back hardly at all and having her sleep on her side. Well, after about 3 months of doing what the dr. and therapist said to do to help her with it we finally went to Children's Hospital this past week to get another professionals opinion....and horray!!! No cranial shaping helmet needed.
I thought I would include a few pics of a child having to get fitted for a helmet....poor baby!
Thank you, Lord Jesus, for blessing us with a good ped. dr. and therapist (Mrs. Brandi) for providing us with good knowledge and guidance on how to work with Harper and her precious head in keeping her helmet free!!!!!
