Favorite Christmas Movie

So, tis the season of Christmas movies being played on T.V.  There was the 24 hour marathon of White Christmas last week...and then Miracle on 34th Street was playing on 2 different channels a few nights ago.. both in color and black-and-white.  Those both are great Christmas movies.
There is also the favorite, It's a Wonderful Life.  I haven't seen it being played on television yet... but I'm sure its coming.  Some people love it, some don't.  I'm a lover, not a hater.  The only part I don't like is when George Bailey experiences his life as if he was never born.  He has that crazy look in his eye at one point and it has always made me not like that section of the movie for some reason.
I have to say, I'm not a fan of some of the others that people might say are classics such as:  A Christmas Story, Chevy Chases Christmas Vacation, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and Elf.  Though I'm sure they are funny, sweet movies, for some reason they just don't embrace the essence of Christmas to me.
But lets get to my favorite.  It's not known to many and is more of a romantic Christmas story... kind of like Christmas in Connecticut (which is also pretty good).  Some of you have seen the newer version that came out about 10 years ago called, You've Got Mail.  Well, the original version is called, The Shop Around the Corner with Jimmy Stewart.  I have to say, its my favorite Christmas time movie.  If you liked You've Got Mail then you should love this movie.  I even have a copy of it if you don't want to go rent it.  Borrow it, rent it, watch it and decide for yourself.  I love it!.. and you can't go wrong with a Jimmy Stewart movie anyhow. HA!
