Giving Things Up.... Part 2
So, as you can see by reading I'm still dealing with giving things up in my life. The caffeine is still a work in progress but this time its T.V. shows. You may say, "how does a new mom even have time to watch T.V. at all?" Well, a special shout out to a great invention called TVO! Yes, how wonderful it is not to have to insert video tapes anymore to tape a show...now you can just program your TVO and there you go!!!
Well, lets just say, I really don't record a lot of shows and sad to say that the ones I do watch that none of them have NO substance at all... just pure entertainment on my part. Ok, so the giving up part is the fun little show called Glee. I know, I know, I was pulled in by the periodically bursts of song and dance... and thats it! ...cause the story line is sooo silly! The reasons why I'm having to let it go is even though the singing and dancing is fun to watch the story line, even though silly is quite risky and laced with things that in my book are totally wrong and sinful... homosexuality and casual sex just being a few. But please don't cross me off of your friend list if you just LOVE Glee... which I know ALOT of yall do... but as for me, Ive got to give it up. So, goodbye, cute Finn, rebel Puk, and hysterical Sue... you will be missed.

I'm proud of you girl! "Whatever is lovely, whatever is pure...think on these things" Whatever we put into our hearts is what comes out.
I've debated leaving the show behind as well. The first season was pretty good and the story line was a little more PG. But the second season...its way out there and I don't think the musical numbers have made up for it.
